Welcome to the MAshop.co.uk on line store.

“MAshop.co.uk” and “proACTION Martial Arts” are two separate (but linked) entities.

“MAshop.co.uk” is the retail, equipment and sales company attached to “proACTION Martial Arts”. “ProACTION Martial Arts” is a martial arts tuition company.

Both of these business’ are driven by one website operating under the main domain name of www.MAlessons.co.uk. Therefore all email address’ for both business’ end in “@MAlessons.co.uk”.

Delivery information

We endeavour to deliver items to you within 3 days maximum. In some cases you may receive your items sooner.

If you are a member of proACTION Martial Arts you may collect your items from your instructor at class and save the delivery cost!

Some items paid for by Cheque may take longer as we will await clearance of the cheque prior to dispatch.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY

In some cases of urgent orders received before 1.00pm we can get our items to you for the very next day!

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges will depend upon the item. The standard delivery charge for orders within the UK is £10.00 GBP. For large and bulky items, this charge may increase. Examples of Items that are considered large and bulky are:
  • Jig Saw Mats

  • Punch Bags

  • Free Standing Punch Bags

  • Leg Stretchers

  • BOB’s Work out Stations

Shipping quote on receipt of order with a minimum order value of £200.00

How to pay

Advance payment is required on all orders prior to despatch. Payments accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, Solo, Cheques (allow 5 working days to clear), postal orders, BACS. Please DO NOT send Cash. Credit cards will no longer be accepted for international orders. Third party cheques will not be accepted. All cheques should be made payable to “MAshop.co.uk”.

How secure is this website?

Security is the main consideration for online purchasing which is why we take security very seriously at www.MAlessons.co.uk.

Whenever your personal information is sent to or from us we ensure that the information is sent securely. All of your orders and details are kept in a secure database on our webserver and can only be accessed by key members of the proACTION staff and are not shared with anyone else.

Customer Support and Service

If you wish to talk to a human being about anything relating to MAshop.co.uk, or the website, or if you have any general queries you can phone us on 08453 909 900 (Local call rate). This is a standard rate line, so calls will not cost more than normal. Our offices are open from 9am-5pm (GMT) Monday to Friday except for bank holidays, but you can send us an email to sales@malessons.co.uk at any time and we will respond as quickly as possible - we have a skeleton staff monitoring emails when the offices are closed.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Sales are made on a trade basis and are subject to our terms and conditions of sale.

  2. All retail prices are shown inclusive of VAT.

  3. Returned or represented cheques will be charged a £15.00 administration fee.

  4. Claims arising from shortages or damages must be claimed within 3 working days upon receipt of the goods. Damaged/shortage of parcels must be signed for as damaged/parcel shortage when accepting the delivery.

  5. Claims for non delivery must be made within 10 days of despatch.

  6. Goods despatched to a third party are at your own risk .

  7. Prices are subject to alteration without prior notice. Orders are accepted on the understanding that they will be charged at the prices ruling at the time of despatch.

  8. Goods remain the property of MAshop.co.uk until full payment has been received.

  9. All goods are subject to delivery costs unless collected from our premises giving prior notice, unless stated otherwise.

  10. Special orders (non stock items):
    All orders placed including any airfreight if applicable must be paid for in advance and are not refundable by MAshop.co.uk. Any size discrepancy or quality issues are at the customers own risk and all returns and re-orders are at the customers expense and will not be covered by MAshop.co.uk.

  11. MAshop.co.uk reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.

  12. You, the customer, are responsible for checking and confirming that you are satisfied that all details of your order are correct.

  13. Times of delivery are estimated as accurately as possible but could be subject to delays beyond out control. MAshop.co.uk cannot be held responsible.

  14. MAshop.co.uk reserve the right to alter specifications and/or products without prior notice due to our commitment to continually improve & update our product range.

  15. All transactions are subject to our terms & conditions.

  16. All parcels are delivered by our couriers where a signature is required (or collected in class by you if you are a proACTION member), please make prior arrangements to accept your orders. All undelivered Parcels will incur a re-delivery charge to the customer.

  17. Once an order has been placed it becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it. All orders are subject to availability.

  18. These terms & conditions do not effect your statuatory rights.

Special orders (non stock items)

Your right to cancel your order: cancellation notice)

Under the Consumer Protection - 'Distance Selling Regulations 2000' you (the consumer) have the right to cancel your order within a 7 working day period. The cancellation period starts from the day that the goods are received.

The regulations require the consumer to send a notice of cancellation in writing including fax or email. A telephone call is not enough. In the event of cancellation the goods must be returned (as New) at the consumer's own expense. If the goods are not returned MAshop.co.uk can arrange for the goods to be collected and direct cost will be returned from the refund total.

Returns

  1. Please telephone our customer services team for a Returns Number, they will need to know the invoice no. what is being returned and the reason. Please have this information ready.

  2. If goods have been sent incorrectly please call us within 7 days to arrange a collection and a re-delivery.

  3. New merchandise (not washed,worn, altered or soiled), and suitable for resale may be returned for exchange or a refund within 14 days of purchase. If new merchandise is returned within 15-60 days of purchase, there is a 15% restocking charge, after 60 days goods cannot be accepted. No returns are accepted on co-brand or clearance stock.

  4. Returned goods will only be accepted for exchange/refund when returned in original wrappings within 14 days of purchase. The returns number must be clearly marked on the address label.

  5. Goods will only be accepted back at our discretion. Printed or embroidered products/garments will not be accepted back under any circumstances.
    The following can not be returned:-

    • Goods that have been worn / washed / altered / embroidered / printed or soiled

    • Sparring equipment that is squashed/out of shape

    • Video Tapes,CDs, DVDs.

    • Personalised & custom made products

    • Sparring equipment with straps fastened – causing wrinkling

    • Discontinued/sale merchandise

    • Merchandise not in original wrapping with instructions.

    • Returns without a returns number.

    • Goods returned after 60 days of purchase

Our Complaints Procedure

If you have any complaints about MAshop.co.uk, regarding orders, products or anything else please contact us on 08453 909 900 (Local call rate) or send an email to sales@malessons.co.uk. We take complaints and problems seriously and promise to:

  • acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days

  • keep you informed throughout the complaints procedure

  • and we will endeavour to respond to all complaints within 5 working days
